Systemic challenges present a massive risk.
However, if we can tackle them systemic challenges are an area of massive opportunity. Current organizational structures, leadership styles, technological platforms, and innovation processes are ill suited against complex, systemic, and rapidly changing threats to stability. Mitigating risks and generating actionable opportunities relies bridging many gaps in current thinking and action.

We bring a unique set of capabilities, tools, and platform architectures that allow organizations or groups of entities crossing sectors to face the complexity of integrated challenges, and shape clear, actionable, and realistic pathways towards achieving radically different outcomes. We lend organization a ‘Systems Advantage’ that provides two key benefits: a radically altered trajectory to the future and a different set of capabilities to generate system interventions to address system challenges.

Traditional approaches are ineffectual against scaled and urgent systemic challenges.  In order to deal with non-linear challengesin rapid time frames, we must embrace complexity and act quickly.

Our Story

We started with a key question, how do we redesign the system to produce desired outcomes? Having played a major role in the conceptualization of Design Thinking at IDEO, Banny Banerjee joined Stanford University on a quest to discover a way to redesign scaled systems, not just the experience of them.

Banny founded ChangeLabs to serve as a platform for advancing the field of systems transformation, innovation, and leadership.

Advancing the field of systems transformation

Through more than a decade of cross-disciplinary applied research, Banny led ChangeLabs to develop System Acupuncture®, an integrated innovation approach for system transformation. Global ChangeLabs was then founded with the goal to expand and accelerate system transformation impact.

Using System Acupuncture®, we help organizations achieve systemic and sustained change in their organizations and develop strategies to drive long-term resilience.
